We stayed at the Lärchenhof for 5 days for the first time and can say that we would gladly choose this hotel again and again. The friendliness of the operators, the very good food and the sauna area in the hotel deserve special mention. The partly newly designed sauna world is really great and varied.

We have stayed at the Lärchenhof in Heiligenblut several times and have enjoyed being able to enjoy some normality in the difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic; even a 1000 km journey has not deterred us from hiking in the beautiful mountain world.

It is both remarkable and admirable how our hosts, the Trojer family, have given us an almost Corona-free vacation over the past week with a coherent hygiene concept and sensitive handling of the situation.

The food, service and room were very good as always. We must also praise our chef Werner, who created and prepared a varied menu selection. We are already looking forward to our next vacation and the new culinary experiences!

However, there is one fly in the ointment: it is absolutely unacceptable for individual guests to criticize the hotel (here: the service) because a prompt (clearing) service is not always available in the dining room. These guests have probably forgotten that there are certain (hygiene) rules in Corona times that make sense: distance and contact restrictions also apply in hotels. Such guests should perhaps try their "luck" elsewhere with their demands!
